About Detail Connect Limited
Over 14 years of independent, non-commercial dedication to advancing public audiological literacy, consumer transparency, and evidence-based hearing technology research.
Demystifying Audiological Technology Since 2012
DETAIL CONNECT LIMITED was formally registered in New Zealand on 27 July 2012 under the leadership of Founder & Director Takky Kasipat. Operating from Pongakawa in the Bay of Plenty region, the organization was created to address a critical void in consumer health information: the overwhelming commercial bias and technical opacity surrounding hearing instruments.
Hearing loss is one of the most prevalent chronic health conditions globally, affecting speech comprehension, cognitive engagement, and emotional well-being. Yet, prospective hearing aid wearers are frequently confronted with aggressive sales funnels, confusing proprietary jargon, and undisclosed commercial sponsorships.
Detail Connect Limited was established with a singular, non-negotiable charter: to operate as a completely free, independent educational archive. We do not sell hearing aids, we do not accept commercial kickbacks, and we do not endorse specific manufacturers. Every guide, comparison, and technical explainer is crafted strictly for public education and acoustic transparency.

The 4 Pillars of Detail Connect Editorial Integrity
How we ensure our audiological publications maintain clinical accuracy and total impartiality.
100% Non-Commercial
We do not accept paid placements, manufacturer sponsorships, or affiliate retail commissions. Our research is entirely independent, allowing us to highlight both the strengths and limitations of any technology.
Evidence-Based Sourcing
All technical content references peer-reviewed journals, international acoustic standards (ANSI/ASA S3.22, IEC 60118), and verified audiological fitting rationales (NAL-NL2, DSL v5.0).
Plain-Language Clarity
We translate dense clinical jargon?such as Wide Dynamic Range Compression, phase cancellation, and real-ear-to-coupler differences?into transparent, actionable concepts for readers of all backgrounds.
Clinical Boundaries
We maintain a strict ethical boundary: our educational materials inform and prepare users, but never replace clinical diagnosis, otoscopic examinations, or customized fitting by a licensed professional.
